Passive ODN / CONFIGURATION GUIDE
PLC optical splitters
Specify the optical split, package and connector interfaces before comparing a PLC splitter quotation. A matching split ratio alone does not confirm that the assembly will fit your installation.
Request this productReference configurations for quotation. Exact model, availability and documents are confirmed for the selected item.

Configuration & specification checklist
| Field | Include in your RFQ |
|---|---|
| Split ratio | State the required ratio, such as 1:8, 1:16 or 1:32, and whether splitting is single-stage or cascaded. |
| Package | Specify steel tube / mini, ABS module or cassette, plus the available mounting space. |
| Interfaces | List connector and polish at every required port, including SC/APC or SC/UPC. |
| Fiber and tails | State fiber grade, input/output tail lengths and cable diameter. |
| Optical budget | Provide operating wavelengths and the required insertion-loss and return-loss limits. |
| Quantity and delivery | List units by configuration, delivery country and requested schedule. |
Compatibility check
Check the full link loss budget, including splitter stages, connector pairs, splices and cable. A passive splitter does not replace a route survey or PON design.
Documents to request
- Exact configuration and port map
- Model-specific optical performance data
- Package dimensions and installation details
- Applicable test documents and packing specification
Ask which documents are available for the exact proposed model. Certification, test reports and OEM options are confirmed individually.
Make the quotation useful
Quote each ratio, package and connector option separately so price and lead time can be compared on the same configuration.
Include destination country/port, requested date and quantity. Request itemized MOQ, lead time, payment terms and the required EXW, FOB or CIF basis. Freight and any local availability must be confirmed in the offer.
