Feeder cable systems / CONFIGURATION GUIDE
Outdoor fiber optic cable & ADSS
Define the installation route before selecting outdoor cable construction. ADSS, duct cable and armored outdoor cable are different requests; their mechanical requirements cannot be inferred from fiber count alone.
Request this productReference configurations for quotation. Exact model, availability and documents are confirmed for the selected item.

Configuration & specification checklist
| Field | Include in your RFQ |
|---|---|
| Installation | State aerial self-supporting, duct or direct-buried installation, plus the relevant site conditions. |
| Fiber | Specify fiber count and grade, such as a requested 24/48-fiber G.652.D configuration. |
| Mechanical design | For ADSS, provide spans, wind/ice loading, temperature range and installation/tension limits. |
| Construction | State cable diameter limits, sheath, strength member and any armor requirements. |
| Lengths | List total route length, individual drum lengths and any restrictions on joints. |
| Hardware | Match anchoring/suspension hardware to the exact cable diameter, construction and approved installation design. |
Compatibility check
OPGW is optical ground wire for power-line applications and requires a separate engineering check. Send the complete cable designation and electrical/mechanical requirements; do not substitute an ADSS quotation.
Documents to request
- Cable cross-section and exact model datasheet
- Optical and mechanical requirements
- Drum length, weight and packing schedule
- Cable/hardware compatibility and applicable test documents
Ask which documents are available for the exact proposed model. Certification, test reports and OEM options are confirmed individually.
Make the quotation useful
Keep ADSS, other outdoor cable and OPGW requests on separate quotation lines. Confirm construction, drum lengths and destination before comparing per-kilometer prices.
Include destination country/port, requested date and quantity. Request itemized MOQ, lead time, payment terms and the required EXW, FOB or CIF basis. Freight and any local availability must be confirmed in the offer.
